Voting With Your Dollar: Ways to Spend, Save & Invest for Sustainable Impact
May 9, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Voting with your dollar is about more than where you shop and what you buy. Join the Women’s Environmental Network and a panel of impact investing professionals to learn how the institutions you choose to save and invest with can enhance the health of our environment and communities too.
What You’ll Learn:
This event will cover an array of investment avenues – from community banks and credit union options in the Bay Area, to carbon neutral 401ks and socially-responsible index funds. We’ll also provide you with a digital resource guide to get you started in your impact journey.
Schedule:
Networking and light snacks will be provided from 6:00 to 6:30, with a quick briefing on the history of impact investing by Lucy Ta, a WEN member, before the discussion begins.
Our informational panel features guests such as Megan Morrice, of HIP Investor Inc. and Kristin Hull, Founder & CEO of Nia Impact Advisors, and Yuliya Tarasava, Co-founder & COO of CNote. More panelists to be announced soon!
