Join us for WEN’s first family event in partnership with Mothers Out Front! One of our goals as the Women’s Environmental Network is to provide an inclusive environment that supports opportunities for all women. If you are a parent, we’d like to use this opportunity to learn about what some of your challenges are when it comes to your career and ability to attend professional events.

This “green” movie night will take place at the San Francisco Department of the Environment on January 24th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. We will be screening episode one of the documentary television series, Years of Living Dangerously, followed by a debrief and discussion afterward.

Kids and partners are welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a kids screening of the environmental short, Worse Than Poop, and the 2012 animated film, The Lorax. Pizza, healthy snacks and beverages will be provided.

Although this event is geared towards moms to understand unique challenges, everyone is invited and welcome.

Tickets: $5 per person. Tickets offset the costs of food and drinks. To ensure there’s enough, buying tickets ahead of time is highly encouraged, however tickets will also be available at the door.
