Valerie’s professional background spans sustainability, ESG, climate strategy, data analytics, and ecology. In her current role as the Sustainability & ESG Specialist for San Francisco-based private equity firm Hellman & Friedman, Valerie uses her knowledge of ESG strategy and business operations to help companies understand and improve their impact on society and the environment. She is passionate about promoting women’s leadership and helping others develop meaningful careers in sustainability.

Outside of work, Valerie loves pottery, painting, vegan cooking, and going whale watching.
