April 2016 – East Bay Microbrews After Work, featuring Jen Jackson with a talk on networking/job search skills

Join the Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) as we return to Woods Bar & Brewery for a drink after work and a short talk on networking and job searching skills by Jen Jackson, Toxics Reduction & Healthy Ecosystems Program Manager with SF Environment! Mix and mingle with other environmental professionals while sampling unique and refreshing small batch beers on their outdoor garden patio. Woods brews all of their beers on site and uses local, organic, and fair trade ingredients when available.

7:00-7:30 PM: Talk on networking skills and job search strategies (on the second floor of Woods)
7:30-8:00 PM: Post-talk networking

Jen Jackson manages the Toxics Reduction & Healthy Ecosystems Program for the San Francisco Department of the Environment. Before joining SF Environment a little over a year ago, she worked for other local government agencies, environmental non-profit organizations, and as an independent contractor. She will be joining WEN to share her advice and experiences on networking strategies and job search skills.
